The Right love at the Right time

After twenty something years of sort of dating, I have come and gone from at least a full hand of different relationships, some long, some as short as a kiss, some so far away that were fed by hand writing letters where email was not even an option. I have loved some, I have cared for others but in reality, I have been infatuated by most of them.
For some reason all relationships ended and I got some not pretty bruises in my heart. I always thought that when I was able to finally feel all that deep and unconditional love that would be it for me, I would stay, I would be done, but again, that has not been the case.
People say that if something is yours, it will come back to you; that where there is love, love is enough; others say that sometimes, is just the right love at the wrong time…
So which of all of those applies here? Were none of them the love of my life? Was not the right time for any of us? Will any of them come back if is meant to be? Or, was love just not enough?
I believe that in this life, things happen for a reason, some of you might think different, and I totally respect that, but I do believe that when something is meant to be, everything runs out smoothly, you might have problems, you might fight, you might want to kill your partner sometimes, but at the end of the day, you know you love this person, because when you are in the right path of your life, you are happy, even in the most desperate times, you are where you are suppose to be.
I remember a phrase from a movie when a girl asked her girlfriend if she was happy with her marriage and her answer stuck with me: I am happy everyday! Not all day every day but yes, I am happy every day!
So what this means?
I guess as most of you, I am still waiting for an answer and also as most of you, I am desperate to find the answer soon but again, life doesn’t work that way. Have you heard this other cliché phrase that says: “only time will tell”? So for us, the ones that want everything in-the-now, will have to wait and see.
What I can tell you is this:
Are you happy now? Do you smile every day? Are you hopeful for the future? Are you content with what you have lived? If so, then you are in the right path of your life, the future will continue with its beautiful mysterious ways of making our lives interesting.
Keep your eyes open and your hearts pumping…
I am doing the same!
